Lahaina Family Farms has been hosting WWOOFers since inception. WWOOFers make what we do possible!

Members of World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms, once approved, spend at least two weeks on our farm working with us to create a self-sustaining organic farm, following traditions of Hawaiian Makua, or ancestors. WWOOFers commit 25 hours per week to farm maintenance, and are free to spend their free time exploring Maui. Under certain circumstances, some WWOOFers may be permitted to extend their stay.

See our extensive profile on the WWOOF Hawaii site for lots more details and info about applying. Please take the time to review this information carefully before calling us with questions.

WWOOFing is not for the faint of heart. It requires more than just someone looking for a free place to stay in paradise, especially in Hawaii where weather conditions can vary from rainy to hot and dry. We do expect a level of commitment and maturity from WWOOFers; in exchange, you receive the benefit of free meals and lodging. WWOOFers work hard, but we also treat them with respect and reward them warmly with regular outings such as snorkeling, whale watches, hikes and more.
